Swindon Borough Council (SBC) is issuing this Request for Quote ("RFQ") in relation to the procurement of Swindon the contract will focus primarily on enabling people to take up opportunities of employment and volunteering in their local communities and neighbourhoods. The service will also support service users in their personal development, for example, supporting and guiding people in self-centred planning and developing life skills to allow them to work towards living as independently as possible. These skills include anything from developing appropriate social skills, employment preparation, domestic skills, as well as hobbies and other interests, skills in reading, money recognition, and personal safety, in an accessible way. The contract is for 18 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months. Full details relating to the Goods/Services/Works are provided in the tender documents. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents.
