NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit are working on behalf of Cheshire and Merseyside ICB to award a contract for Elective Services - Orthotics - Cheshire Place, for a period of 2 years from 1 April 2023 plus 1 year possible extension. It was awarded on a 2 year plus one year contract to provide continuity for patients who have devices relevant to their care. Total Annual contract value is £ 376,000 per annum with total possible contract value (including extension) of £ 1,128,000. The award will ensure all partnership working continues between the NHS Trust and the Independent Sector that will deliver benefits to patients and financial efficiencies across the local health economy. This Contract Award Notice is published under the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2015. It is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ('Regulations') as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations. Accordingly, the contracting authority is only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authority is not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations.
