The Supply & Installation of an Isokinetic Dynamometer

The University has been successful in obtaining Welsh Government Smart Capital Grant funding, to procure equipment which has to supplied, delivered and paid for before 31st March 2024. We are now looking to award a contract for The Supply & Installation of an Isokinetic Dynamometer to deliver physiological & biomechanical testing & support to the new Biomechanics, Performance & Rehabilitation laboratory. The new laboratory will provide a range of services to athletes, patients, students, researchers & University partners including injury rehabilitation, performance testing, motion analysis etc. Wrexham University has been awarded a Welsh Government SMART capital funding bid for the purchase of 1 Isokinetic Dynamometer. The funding requires any equipment to be supplied, delivered and paid for by no later than the 31st March 2024. The Isokinetic Dynamometer must be able to measure strength, endurance, power and range of motion of all major joints and muscles. The equipment must have detailed software that provides accurate information on athlete/patient data which will determine injury rehabilitation progression. The equipment package must include delivery and installation. A sufficient warranty and service provision must be provided and training options available. The indicative budget for this contract will not exceed £63,780.00 including VAT.
