Supporting the Third Sector in Kirklees

Tender description

Tenders are invited by the Council from Providers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Supporting the Third Sector in Kirklees (the "Services"). The council wishes to commission one provider who can provide support to all VCSE organisations in Kirklees, to increase VCSE capacity resilience and sustainability. Lot 1: Kirklees Council and partners value the contribution made by our local Voluntary Community Faith and Social Enterprise Sector in the local economy (VCSE). Creating jobs, delivering services, and connecting people in neighbourhoods improving community cohesion and reducing social isolation and loneliness as well as improving general health and well-being. The recent experiences in the context of the pandemic have brought that into even sharper focus. The rise in volunteering along with the invaluable roles played by mutual aid groups and anchor organisations are evidence of the energy and capacity that exists. This procurement intends to provide support to all VCSE organisations in Kirklees, to increase VCSE capacity resilience and sustainability.
