Request for development of site-based Nature Recovery Management Plans in the Brecon Beacons Nationa

Tender description

The Consultant will be required to carry out a Baseline Habitat Survey (extended Phase 1 habitat survey including target notes) of each area/site, and then using this, information gleaned at initial site visits, discussion with the Group/BBLNP, a LERC Report (provided by BBLNP), create a Nature Recovery Management Plan, appropriate to the site and accessible to the Group responsible for the site. The Consultant will need to take a co-design approach to the plans ensuring that the Group fully understand the information from their site’s reports and gives them a clear, achievable roadmap to follow that will work toward habitat creation/ restoration activities tailored to the natural assets and skills available for the particular site. All information should be presented in a manner that is easily understood and any information, advice and guidance should be presented in layman’s terms. Once the Nature Recovery Management Plan is created the Consultant will be required assist the Group in line with outputs and milestones set out below The project will involve working closely with the BBLNP Implementation Officer and the Group members.
