Quick Quote for Kitchen Canopy Cleaning

Tender description

The works comprise of a full clean of the kitchen canopy, grease filters, plenums, channels, duct work and extract fan and installation of access doors to the canopies if required. In order to secure the best value for the Council, the Procurement Service identified the most effective route to market as a Works Quick Quote under Standing Order 3.2. This provided the Council with access to established contractors in this area, as well as allowing local SMEs to participate in the tender process in line with the Councils efforts to improve community outcomes through increase spend with local SMEs. While relevant Frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing System were assessed, it was agreed that the Works Quick Quote would produce Best Value for the Council by providing better access to established local contractors and encourage local SME participation in the tender process.
