Attleborough Leisure Centre Refurbishment and Extension - Prior Information Notice

Breckland Council is seeking to procure an experienced main Construction Contractor to perform the refurbishment and extension of Attleborough Leisure Centre. This work will comprise the refurbishment of the existing sports hall and changing rooms as well as a single-storey extension to accommodate a new fitness suite, studio and cycle studio as part of the Attleborough Leisure Centre project. Lot 1: The Contracting Authority intends to conduct a competitive procurement process for the procurement of a main Contractor to perform the refurbishment and extension of Attleborough Leisure Centre in early Spring 2024. This will include the refurbishment of the existing sports hall and changing rooms and a single-storey extension to accommodate a new fitness suite, studio and cycle studio as part of the Attleborough Leisure Centre Project. Construction work on site is set to commence Autumn 2024. Further details will be included in the Contract Notice to be published in due course.This Prior Information Notice is to give the market early warning of a proposed procurement for Breckland District Council and to alert the market to the Council’s Developer Awareness / Pre-market Engagement Session(s) being held mid-January 2024 which will set out the development objectives for the delivery of the scheme.These sessions will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams and comprise presentations from both the Architectural team and the internal project delivery team. Following these presentations, there will also be opportunity for two-way pre-procurement questions via an open Q&A session.
