Temporary Appointment of a Liveable Towns and Cities Co-Ordinator and Consultancy Support for the following • The management of a grant on behalf of Department for Transport that is available to local transport authorities to develop the National Cycling Network across England. • Their role as managers of the National Cycle Network which is enabled by 3,500 volunteers covering the UK. • Industry leaders on technical design standards and at the forefront of discussions around engagement and infrastructure design. 'Paths for Everyone' principles, training courses on LTN 1/20 design standards, reports such as our 'Street Design Toolkit', and 'Handbook for Cycle-Friendly Design' are widely used by practitioners. • Experts in engagement and co-design, involving local people in the conception, design and delivery of solutions, giving projects the best possible chance of success.
