Supply and Installation of New Play Equipment at Pockeridge Road Play Areas, Corsham

Tender description

Corsham Town Council is looking to improve/refurbish the play equipment at two play areas in Pockeridge Road, Corsham (known as Pockeridge A and Pockeridge B). The Town Council is seeking a contractor to remove some existing pieces of kit, and to design, install and appropriately surface new play equipment at both areas. The layout and equipment should be interesting, fun, visually appealing and create a place that local residents use and value. Pockeridge A features a pronounced slope: potential contractors will need to undertake a site visit to understand the constraints this poses and give thought to how best to use the space. Pockeridge B is level, but is somewhat space limited (c.121m2). The Town Council has undertaken some initial consultation with residents to ascertain what kind of equipment they want. More information on the consultation is included in the attached Specification. The Specification should be read carefully , especially the section entitled 'Submission of Tenders' by all companies submitting tenders.
