Cheshire West and Chester Council is currently considering options for an ID verification tool and is testing the market to establish if there are suitable providers. The ID verification tool would initially support the Direct Payment Prepayment Card scheme, which covers the provision of a prepayment card and digital bank account to enable social care users (or their financial representatives) to manage their personal care budget.
