Tender description

The works relate to second floor areas in Queens Central Building, Queens South Building and Trevithick Building located on Newport Road, Cardiff. Queen’s Central / South Buildings consists of 4 floors and a basement, and the planned works are to rooms C1.06 - C1.08 and S2.11, S2.15. The proposed works are to open up rooms C1.06, C1.07 & C1.08 and S2.11 & S2.15 to create two large teaching spaces to provide workshops and teaching spaces for Electric Vehicle programme. Trevithick Building consists of 3 floors and the planned works are to T0.30. The proposed works involved internal refurbishment to provide a space for Cardiff engineering students. An external lithium battery store will be installed with a 3 phase power supply. Both areas will require structural, mechanical, electrical and building fabric refurbishment works as described within the Schedule of Works and Specification.
