Tender description

L and Q is seeking suitably experienced suppliers to fulfil its window cleaning services across its estates. The scope of the services will be split into 2 x Lots (Lot 1 - South / Lot 2 - North) L and Q seeks to maintain the high standard and quality of external window cleaning across its estate, and is aiming for an economic, high quality window cleaning service with a stable workforce and effective supervision. Cost will therefore be only one element in the overall assessment of tenders. An output specification for scheduled cleaning of all windows outside of all L and Q residential buildings is attached to the ITT and this will include:• External windows and externally facing glass on doors, where specified. • Porches / canopies. • External and internal windowsills and frames. • Residential balcony glass, external surface. • Panelling around main entrances. • Building manifestations and signage. • Internal and external atriums. Lot 1: L&Q seeks to maintain the high standard and quality of external window cleaning across its estate, and is aiming for an economic, high quality window cleaning service with a stable workforce and effective supervision. Cost will therefore be only one element in the overall assessment of tenders.An output specification for scheduled cleaning of all windows outside of all L&Q residential buildings is attached to the ITT Additional works will be required All external windows shall be cleaned as set out in the Cleaning Frequency schedule For smaller buildings, the use of Water Fed Pole Systems is the recognised method of window cleaning for this contract.For larger buildings within the estate, rope access / abseiling methods are used
