ANY SUPPLIER RESPONDING TO THE COUNCIL IS DOING SO TO SUPPORT MARKET RESEARCH ONLY AND TO HELP MAKE ANY POTENTIAL PROCUREMENT PROCESS MORE FOCUSED AND EFFICIENT. THIS MAY LEAD TO A PROCUREMENT OPPORTUNITY IN THE NEAR FUTURE Halton Borough Council is currently considering options for the provision of Domiciliary Care in Halton and is testing the market to establish suitable suppliers to provide this service. It is estimated that Halton Borough Council currently commissions 5,500 hours of Domiciliary Care per week across Halton. Domiciliary Care Services provide personal care for people living in their own homes and are independently regulated by the Care Quality Commission under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009.
