Market Consultation - Minor Adaptations Service

This is a soft market testing exercise and not a call for competition. Cheshire East Council (CEC) has no pre-determined approach concerning any future procurement. We are reviewing our minor adaptations offer and would like to understand from the market what viable costs look like for the delivery of a minor adaptations service. CEC's operational processes in social care place a strong emphasis on early prevention, based on an individual’s strengths using a needs led approach. The minor adaptations service is seen as an important preventative offer alongside other measures in this respect. Keeping people safe and independent for longer to reduce and/or delay the need for costly care packages, facilitating hospital discharge, and preventing hospital admission, are at the forefront of this approach.
