Future Boats In-Service Support - Invitation to Industry Day on 30 January 2024 in MOD Abbey Wood. Join the Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Boats Team on the 30 January 2024, to held in Abbey Wood, Bristol, BS34 8JH, UK, for a unique opportunity to collaborate in planning the next iteration of the Boats In-Service Support (BISS) Contracts. With the existing BISS contracts expiring on 31 March 2026, the team would welcome a conversation about our future plans and the opportunity to provide an update on our thoughts as we decide what the Future BISS contracts will look like, including an overview of: The boats and boat classes to be supported; The technical and support requirement; The lotting and competition structure; The key learning from the existing and previous contracts; The planned timelines. The day will commence with a presentation by the DE&S Boats Team, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity to book one-to-one meetings with key Boats Team personnel so that your experience and questions can be addressed in more detail. We look forward to you joining us on 30 January 2024 for a key discussion on the Future BISS contracts.
