Eisteddfod Event Support

Tender description

Cardiff University will be attending the Urdd and National Eisteddfod events in 2024 and 2025 and for years thereafter. At the National Eisteddfod, we will be running a mix of engagement activities, panel discussions and receptions, as well needing space for recruitment information, so again, the space must be flexible to accommodate the differing programme on each day. At the Urdd, we will be running engagement activities in our stand for families each day, as well as having space for recruitment information to be displayed, and space for a piano for choirs to come in and practice. Each day can be different, so the space needs to be flexible. The university will have a solid stand on the Maes at these events (provided by the Urdd and National Eisteddfod organisers respectively), and we need the following support for each event: - Transport of materials and equipment from Cardiff University to the Urdd and Eisteddfod sites and back (from up to 4 sites across Campus) - Production and installation of internal wall to create storage area within the stand - Production and installation of external branding on the outside of the stand - Production and installation of internal branding on the inside of the stand - Provision of furniture for the event week - Provision and set up of lighting - Provision and set up of audio visual equipment - Production and installation of partitioned workspace (National Eisteddfod events only)
