Single Party Framework Agreement for the Provision of Interpretation and Exhibition Design for the Rock of Cashel, Cashel, Co. Tipperary for the OPW

Tender description

The Office of Public Works (OPW), under a partnership agreement with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (DHLGH) and Fáilte Ireland (FI) are currently implementing a Tourism Investment Programme across the heritage estate in State care. This is being funded by way of partial grants from Fáílte Ireland supplemented by Voted funding for National Monuments and Historic Properties by the Department and OPW. On foot of this programme, provisional approval has been given for funding to improve and modernise the visitor experience at the Rock of Cashel visitor site, Cashel, Co. Tipperary. This project is being mounted as a collaborative effort between the three official project partners: • Office of Public Works (OPW); • Department of Housing Local Government and Heritage (DHLGH); • Fáilte Ireland (FI); and will address significant parts of the current visitor experience at the Rock of Cashel including the physical facilities available at the site, immersive exhibition and virtual interpretation and other services.
