NWRC Removals and Relocations

Tender description

The Agency intends to procure a supplier to deliver physical moves and clearance activities at offices located in Reading, Birkenhead and Blackpool. These offices are closing between December 2023 and February 2024 and moving to either the new Northwest Regional Centre (NWRC) in Manchester, which is due to be ready beginning December 2023 or the existing Stratford Office in London. The supplier will be expected to deliver, as a minimum, the following services: • Provide packing crates, cable ties, bubble wrap and labels to the three closing offices. • Transport packed crates and other items (e.g., specialist user chairs and paper records) to either the Stratford Office or the NWRC Office in Manchester. • Undertake full clearance of redundant furnishings and other general office goods and items at the closing sites utilising recycling opportunities wherever possible, subsequently providing a full report of how items were disposed of or recycled in a sustainable manner which considers Greening Government Commitments. • Full clean or sweep of floor within all three office demises post clearance. • Collection of all unpacked crates from either the Stratford Office or the NWRC Office, including removing any packaging materials or associated waste for recycling or disposal.
