Works will include internal alteration works to form two new accessible toilets (male and female) and construction of a new entrance porch to include automated entrance doors and entrance ramp. The scope also includes some energy efficiency improvements to the building fabric and electrical services, relocation of a shipping container and supply and installation of a new welfare cabin The ferry terminal building does not have any accessible toilets and the building and entrance doorway is difficult to access for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility. Therefore, a number of improvements are required to make the building more accessible.
