Works at Island Lodge, Kirklees Bury The works set out in this tender relate to pedestrian access improvements, planting and furniture installation around Island Lodge, which is situated along the Kirklees Valley in Greenmount Bury. Following delivery of this project, Bury Council will be delivering a significant engineering project to repair Island Lodge itself. These works are being procured and delivered separately. External grant funding for this work has been secured by the ‘Save Island Lodge’ community group. The group are working alongside officers at Bury Council (as landowners) to deliver the capital improvements. Proffitts – Investing in Communities are acting and Project Managers to support both the Council and Group.
