Training to Family Hubs Workforce

In 2022 Wirral Borough Council were successful in applying for transformational funding to support the development of Family Hubs in Wirral. Wirral’s approach has been to build up on existing services in and access points in Wirral including VCSFE sector, schools and local authority assets. As part of the transformational funding a proportion was dedicated to training of the workforce in relation to key areas of the Annexe F of Family Hubs Service Expectations. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1096773/Annex_F_-_family_hub_service_expectations.pdf We are keen to commission local organisations to delivery the following training to the Family Hubs Workforce. Lot 1 - Early Language & the Home Learning Environment - importance of parents as first educators Lot 2 - Oral Health - importance of childrens good oral health - supervised toothbrushing Lot 3 - SEND - Children & Young People .
