Grounds Maintenance Equipment Maintenance

Tender description

The notice is to direct award for the repair and maintenance of the Stafford Borough Council grounds maintenance equipment to F.R. Sharrock Ltd. The Council have attempted to reprocure the above service via a mini competition framework, with the support of Staffordshire County Council's Procurement Team, however, the attempt was unsuccessful, as it had no response from a suitable supplier. The Council cannot operate a large number of its Streetscene services without an experienced plant and equipment maintenance provider, it is therefore implementing a direct award contract to its incumbent supplier, while it attempts to reprocure a longer-term contract and will be completed via a full procurement process. The procurement process will again be undertaken with the support of Staffordshire County Council's procurement team.
