Tree Management Services – Barrow Navigation

Waterways Ireland owns many trees and recognises and values the benefit that they bring to the Barrow Navigation corridor and ensuring their long-term health and viability is of paramount importance. Trees can pose a risk to safety but this risk needs to be considered in balance with the benefits that they provide to biodiversity, landscape, and the user experience. Waterways Ireland wish to develop this Tree Strategy to assess the management requirements for these natural assets and to allow for long-term planned expenditure which will ensure trees are managed proactively to promote good vigour, longevity and value for money for tree management services procured.
