TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF AGRICULTURAL TRACTOR, HEDGECUTTER ATTACHMENT & TRAILER

Tender description

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council ('the Council') are responsible for maintenance to hedges next to roads pavements and open spaces within the Borough to ensure that highway are passable for pedestrians and vehicles and that sightlines are not obstructed. The equipment is also used for grass bank and ditch works in summer months. A tractor-mounted side-arm flail cutter is used for this function and the council are looking to replace the current tractor and hedge cutter with new equipment as well as procure a trailer for transportation of various agricultural waste.\r Goods are to be supplied as per the specification requirements included in the tender documents.\r \r This procurement process is being conducted in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015, under an Open Procedure.
