Which phase the project is in Live Existing team The existing FN Team is made up of a mixture of civil servants and contractors. Address where the work will be done MOD Corsham, Wiltshire and remotely Working arrangements Hybrid working, using MOD Virtual desktop. Work onsite 2-3 days per week to work with the delivery teams collaboratively, attending joint team meetings, workshops etc., attending other sites where necessary. Flexible working hours and T&S to be agreed and approved by the manager up to a maximum limit of £5,000 for Financial Year 2023/2024 and up to a maximum limit of £20,000 for Financial Year 2024/2025 Provide more information about your security requirements: Security Check (SC) Provide more information about your security requirements: Developed Vetting (DV) Provide more information about your security requirements (optional): Current, valid SC clearance is required for all workers on the Contract. The Authority will not sponsor any SC Clearances. Some delivery areas for the services will require DV clearance. This is demonstrated in the requirements matrix. Latest start date 2024-01-15 Enter the expected contract length: 1 year, 9 months Extension period: 10 months and 15 days Special terms and conditions The contract term on the CCS CAS tool has been set to the 21-month term with an extension option of 10.5 months because the tool only allows one contract term to be inserted. However, as set out elsewhere in the Further Competition documents and as repeated below, the authority is considering one of two contract terms: • 12-months with an optional extension period of 6-months subject to performance and subsequent financial approval (18-months in total) • 21-months subject to financial approval with an optional extension period of 10.5 months subject to performance and financial approval (31.5-months in total) If the Authority chooses to award a 21-month contract, a right to terminate for convenience (i.e. a break clause) will be included that can be exercised by the Authority at any point from the end of the 12th month of the initial term until the end of the contract provided that the Authority gives a minimum of 3-Months notice (i.e. from the first day of the tenth month of the initial term) at no charge to the Authority. If such termination for convenience is triggered but the termination date is subsequently delayed by the Authority due to unforeseen circumstances, the supplier agrees to continue to work at the rates set out in the contract. Please refer to worksheet [FN High Level Outcomes] of the Requirements Matrix Document (PS341 Requirements Matrix – OSC.xlsx) for details of which services are core and which services/service delivery areas are costed options under the services listed below: Service 1 - Delivery Management Service 2 - Delivery Management (SCIDA Skills) Service 3 - Data Analytics Service 4 - Business Analytics Service 5 - Network Architecture Service 6 - JSP604 Case Management Service 7 - Test Management Service 8 - Product/Problem Management Service 9 - Finance Support (Cost Modelling & VfM) Service 10 - Financial Support (Billing and Finance Tracking) Service 11 - Commercial Support Service 12 - Admin Support Where the supplied staff will work South West England Who the organisation using the products or services is Strategic Command, Defence Digital, Fixed Connectivity Why the work is being done The Fixed Networks Service Owner responsible for Defence Digital’s Networks services, as delivered by MSPs, only has a small team dedicated to the support and efficient running of the Products in their Portfolio. This contract will provide support to FN Service Owner that will help deliver efficient Portfolio management and Delivery of those Network Products under the new Service Executive Model. The business problem you need to solve Additional resources are required, delivered as outputs based services, to ensure that the various FN delivery teams hold MSPs to account in delivering the Network services to the required time, cost and quality.
