Tender description

The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) is seeking to procure a debt recovery specialist to provide a debt collection service for debts that have remained unpaid for a period of 56 days. Debts owed to ABUHB may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Default in payments of fees, rent etc; • Overpayments in salaries, grants and subsidies; • Overpayment or early termination fees arising from salary sacrifice schemes ; • Failure to pay for goods and services; and • Damage to government property. Debtors of ABUHB may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Employees and ex-employees of ABUHB • Private patients; • Overseas patients; • Commercial organisations; • Public sector organisations; and • Insurance companies We anticipate that there will be approximately 200 new referrals per annum.
