Consultancy - Placemaking Plans (Corwen and Denbigh)

Tender description

Denbighshire County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced organisation to conduct consultation with community and stakeholders and based on the research develop two comprehensive Placemaking Plans; one (1) for Denbigh and one (1) for Corwen. Both plans will need to be designed in line with the 6 principles of the Placemaking charter: Design Commission for Wales. Denbigh and Corwen have been selected as the first areas of focus, due to statistical and anecdotal evidence of need for community/stakeholder engagement, and identification of feasible activities to improve the prosperity of the areas, both as a place to live and as a visitor destination. It is envisaged that the information gathered during the development, and as a result of the completed Placemaking Plans, will influence future strategic plans and DCC operations and activities as well as supporting grant funding applications and inward investment.
