The main purpose of this soft market testing exercise is: • To help us shape our contracts for the transfer of residual waste in the short and long term; • To explore any new opportunities to bulk and transfer waste other than residual waste; • To determine the level of market interest in bidding for these contracts; • Identify potential new locations and solutions for waste transfer in/close to the county; and • To explore what makes a good procurement process from an industry perspective.
