Provision of Payroll Managed Service for the Lake District National Park Authority

Tender description

The LDNPA has a People team that manages all employee contracts and amendments. LDNPA does not have a dedicated payroll system or payroll staff to manage and action payments. A third party provider has assisted LDNPA by maintaining the relevant staff establishment and contract details within a payroll system, producing the pay instructions and submitting via BACS as our agent, to our bank. They also produce all relevant returns and reconciliations for HMRC and the (Cumbria) Local Government Pension Scheme and provide technical support on payroll issues, including employee taxation.
