Provision of Paediatric Radiology Services

Tender description

This competition is broken into 4 Lots as noted below. Each Lot will consist of up to two service providers. Where two providers are successfully appointed to a Lot, CHI will operate a cascade system where the highest scoring of the two bidders will be first choice for the relevant requirements of that Lot. Services of the second ranked provider may be availed of where the first choice provider is not able to accommodate referrals, such as due to capacity issues. CHI may also avail of the services of the second choice provider in cases where the location of the service is provided closer to the patient’s home. Please note, where the age ranges required by CHI cannot be met by the Tenderer, an automatic Fail (per Lot) will apply. Bidders may respond to any number of Lots. Lot 1 Provision of Ultrasound scans and Radiologist reports for patients in the age range of 8 years of age up to the Eve of their 16th Birthday. In addition, there will be a number of patients who are over the age of 16 years. Lot 2 Provision of routine MRI imaging and reporting for patients in the age range of 8 years of age up to the Eve of their 16th Birthday. In addition, there will be a number of patients who are over the age of 16 years. Lot 3 Provision of I.V. Contrast MRI imaging and reports for patients in the age range of 8 years of age up to the Eve of their 16th Birthday. In addition, there will be a number of patients who are over the age of 16 years. Lot 4 Provision of MRI imaging with or without I.V. contrast under sedation and reports for patients in the age range of 1 years of age up to 3.5 years of age, with associated Day Case admission.
