Improving Attachment (Baby Massage) - Early Intervention and Prevention Services within the Children and Family Centres and Other Related Venues

Sessions for parents with their babies to support parental understanding of the importance of attachment for their child, the impact on healthy physical and mental growth and including speech and language development and to increase and improve the bond between parent and child. We require a programme of up to six sessions of no longer than 60mins. The provider will need to bring with them suitable equipment to run this activity. Parents can be asked to bring a suitable lubricant if advice is provided in advance to be given to the parents at least two weeks before the first session. Preference will be given to those organisations able to clearly demonstrate that their service: - • is targeting specific and identified need in specific areas within Bromley; and • is not duplicating statutory provision but is providing additionality.
