HALIFAX POOL – NEW SUB-STATION

Tender description

The Borough Council of Calderdale invites you to submit a Quote for the construction of a new sub-station enclosure at Halifax Swimming pool. The current sub-station for the swimming pool site is located within the basement area of the existing structure. It currently feeds the swimming pool and a number of buildings in the vicinity. The swimming pool structure is due for demolition, but this cannot commence until alternative provision for the sub-station has been provided and the adjoining buildings connected to the revised supply. This work is to construct the new sub-station structure / enclosure to the specification and drawings provided by the DNO, Northern Powergrid. The works will be monitored and certified by Northern Powergrid’s Clerk of Works and Project Engineers. Any work that does not meet Northern Powergrid’s specification will require rectification at the contractors expense. Works are required to commence as soon as possible. Site visits are a condition of bidding, dates will be made available via the YORtender messaging portal.
