Flight Schedules Data (THEP3030)

Tender description

The Department for Transport (DfT) invites proposals for the provision of a Flight Schedules Data Subscription Service. The DfT requires access to a detailed dataset on flight schedules to monitor the capacity and connectivity of the aviation sector and respond to any business-critical disruption in air transport. To both anticipate and identify disruptions to flights, the DfT requires detailed information about flight schedules at UK and overseas airports in an accessible format which is easy to analyse. The service must enable unrestricted download of data snapshots, both forward looking and historical. Data should be updated on at least a weekly basis. The data will need to be provided in a format that suits DfT business requirements, in a tool that is easy to query.
