Tender description
Bedspace provide accommodation and support for homeless UASC aged 16 -18 who are assessed as being in need via the Children's Act 1989. The accommodation is purchased on demand and the volume varies month to month. We are currently out to procure a multi-provider framework for this provision. The tender was launched on the 24/8/2023, bids are due back on the 22/9/2023. The outcome of the tender process is planned to go to the November Cabinet meeting for approval to award. This exemption is required to ensure that this service is available during the period prior to the start of the of the new contracts on 1/1/2024.
