T0509 Verification of Traffic Model Forecasting Techniques

Tender description

National Highways is seeking to appoint a supplier via the SPaTS2 Framework, to undertake research into key traffic modelling parameters to ensure that established assumptions, processes, and methods are valid. The aim of this project is to examine common forecasting techniques used in modelling and attempt to replicate historic scenarios as proof of the techniques' usefulness and accuracy. This is a key piece of modelling evaluation work which is required to understand the extent to which current modelling techniques are accurat e which could ultimately influence how scheme forecasts are created.
