Tender description

This is to complete redevelopment in designated areas of the Canteen and Reception at the Training & Development Centre and is located at Beaver Hill Road, Sheffield, S13 9QA. The Training & Development Centre (TDC) is an operational training centre which develops current and aspiring fire fighters to reach their full potential. The facility is used widely by colleagues across South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue for meetings and training. In addition to internal staff, the centre is often used by partner agencies such as Yorkshire Ambulance Service, NHS, South Yorkshire Police as well as external parties such as volunteer groups. The project objectives are to complete a successful renovation of the canteen and reception area in line with supplied specifications. For this work to be project managed closely with the pre-agreed programme and limiting impact to the live operational site, the site must be operational during the works. The works to be compliant with CDM regulations on an operational site with high focus on H&S South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue (the Employer) aim to appoint a fit out/multi-disciplinary firm based in South Yorkshire (postcodes S or DN), who must have knowledge, capacity and expertise in M&E, minor building work, joinery, electrical and decoration.
