Renovation of Maltby Female washroom Facilities

This project is a refurbishment for a female shower block at Maltby Fire Station in Rotherham. The existing block is a shared facility, the proposed refurbishment will allow for female fire fighters to have a separate washing block. South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue (the Employer) wish to appoint a Multi-disciplinary Contractor with the related skilled trades attributed to the work described. • Mechanical & Electrical • Carpentry • Plumbing and Drainage • Decoration • Flooring This is advertised on the In Tend Portal. SYFR are inviting tenders from companies from the DN and S postcode areas only. This is to support the local economy by providing opportunities for local suppliers. This approach is allowable under the Cabinet Office Policy Procurement Note PPN 11/20, which allows SYFR to utilise the right to employ economic operators whose registered office is located within the South Yorkshire region only (DN and S postcode areas).
