Tender description

The Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service (GFRS) is administered by the Committee for Home Affairs of the States of Guernsey. It is one of two Fire services on the Island, the other being the Airport Fire & Rescue Service. The GFRS maintains fire cover for the whole of the Island and (as such) needs a range of Fire Appliances in order to carry out its many varied duties. The GFRS is looking to replace an aging Water Tender Ladder Fire Appliance with a new vehicle that meets the needs of a modern Fire Service and a small Island environment. The GFRS requires the build of the appliance to be capable of performing at a high standard for the next 20 years.
