PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SOFT MARKET TESTING QUESTIONNAIRE (THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETTION) North Somerset Council is currently awaiting the outcome of a decision of funding in North Somerset, from the Library Improvement Fund (LIF) funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). North Somerset Council (NSC) Library Service is requesting funds for a specialist accessible library vehicle. An innovative design and build will enable more flexible delivery of library services to support literacy, digital, information and wellbeing needs in rural and deprived community locations with a range of partners and local organisations. Procurement will begin in April 2024 with delivery of a new vehicle expected in September 2025 and new services launching in October 2025. It will be 100% electric which will contribute significantly to energy reduction targets. We are seeking expressions of interest to provide and fit out a suitable electric specialist vehicle for providing mobile library and outreach services. Keywords: Transport; EV Vehicle
