Tender description

This contract award notice is to notify the market that Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust has appointed Roche Diagnostics Ltd for the provision of a Pathology Managed Service Contract. The procurement process conducted was a further competition under Lot 2 of the NHS Supply Chain framework. Framework Title: Pathology and Point of Care Testing, Associated Equipment, Instruments, Consumables, Accessories and Managed Services Framework Reference: 2019/S 212-519575 The call-off contract will be for an initial 84-month (7-year) period with an option to extend for a maximum period of 1 x 84-month (7-year) period up to a maximum of 168 months (14 years). Additional information: The contract start and end date is indicative at this stage. Once the implementation programme is finalised and approved, the agreed contract start date will be confirmed and included within the contract. *************************************************************************************** The contract value published represents the initial seven year term at 22-23 price base for Phase 1. If the contract is extended in line with the original requirements, and as stated in the ITT, the value will vary. Total contract value for the full term is estimated at £320,000,000.
