Collation and Presentation of Indicator Metrics for a State of Natural Capital Report 23-24

Tender description

As part of a wider State of Natural Capital Report, Natural England is seeking to report on the quantity and quality of England's ecosystem assets through a suite of indicators. This contract will collate the metrics and values for these indicators. Analysis will be required for a small number of indicators but the majority of the work will involve gathering already reported metrics from identified internal and external sources, and working closely with NE staff to finalise metric choice. This work will also develop confidence and ecosystem relevance scoring criteria and develop visual presentation options for the indicators, using reproducible methods. This work will help Natural England to provide insights into the state of England's natural capital assets and the importance of this for key policy areas, communicating these to strategic policy- and decision-makers.
