Provision of Theatre Performance Evaluation Services

Tender description

To assist in the process of evaluating theatre performances by companies, organisations and individuals who are known to and/or supported by the Arts Council for the 8.5-month period 20th November 2023 –30th July 2024. The process will involve: • Attendance of performances of shows/Work in Progress showcases/any other event which have been pre-agreed with the Theatre Team • Submissions of a Critical Evaluation report for each event attended • Discussion with theatre team on monthly basis of overview, trends, highlights Based on previous years, it is anticipated that there will be approximately 150 performances, including those in festivals. The tender is broken into 4 Lots representing the 4 main geographic territories. Lot 1: Dublin, East, South East (including Louth, Meath, Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Westmeath) – 75 incl approx. 15 as part of festivals Lot 2: Cork, South, South West (including Tipperary, Kilkenny, Limerick, Kerry, Cork, Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Laois, Offaly), – 30 shows incl approx. 5 as part of festivals Lot 3: Galway, West (including Tipperary, Clare, Galway, Roscommon, Mayo, Longford)– 25 incl approx. 10 as part of festivals Lot 4: Sligo, North West (including Cavan, Leitrim, Sligo, Donegal) – 8 shows incl approx. 3 as part of festivals
