NHS Devon - Peer Support Network - Supporting Young People's Neurodiverse Needs

NHS Devon Integrated Care Board sought to commission a Peer Support Network in Torbay. The focus of this network will be to work alongside the First Steps handbook and will include the current co-produced support guides and skills workshops establish by Parental Minds in East Devon. The network will be for parents/care givers who are supporting their youngster's mental wellbeing. Research evidence shows that early intervention, changes of language and empowering parents/care givers with additional skills can improve the long-term outcomes for these youngsters and is particularly useful for neurodiverse families. The contract term is for 1 year commencing 01 March 2023. The Annual Contract Value is £15,000 Additional information: The services are healthcare services falling within Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations") which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but is instead governed by the "Light Touch Regime" contained within Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Regulations (Regulations 74 to 77).
