Tender description

Siga Hydro Limited aims to appoint expert consultants in multidisciplinary fields to aid in the advancement and execution of Silvermines PCI. The Tender relates to the Engineering Design and preparation of applications for PCI development consent and grid connection for the EU Project of Common Interest 2.29 Hydroelectric Power Station, Silvermines, Tipperary, Ireland. The PCI is a 360MW pumped closed loop hydro energy storage scheme located at a historic mine site, 1 km south of Silvermines village. Phase 4 of the PCI involves the consenting process, and the main objectives of this Phase are to obtain development consent for the Project of Common Interest and secure a grid connection offer to integrate with the Irish transmission system. Consultant expertise is sought in the fields of design team leadership, environmental, public engagement, engineering design, geology and geotechnics, and grid connection services. There are 6 Lots. Tenderers are invited to Tender for all Lots, a single Lot or any combination of Lots. Lot 1 is Integrated Design Team Lead. Lot 2 is EIAR, NIS and Planning Compliance Services. Lot 3 is Public Participation Consultant Services. Lot 4 is Engineering Hydro Power Plant Design Services. Lot 5 is Geology and Geotechnics Services. Lot 6 is the Grid Connection Process and Supply of Electricity Services.
