ATU Galway City Summer Works 2023

Tender description

The Contracting Authority ATU Galway City is proposing to award a contract under the open procedure for works involving the upgrade and reconfiguration of a number of existing laboratories, classrooms and miscellaneous spaces. The work is located in various locations over 2 floors in the main building and also in a number of adjacent prefabs. See site layouts (Drawing No 1, 2 & 3). This will be a turnkey project which will be ready to move into upon completion The main elements involved are as follows: • Replacement of external door. • Small scale ground works eg paths, ramps • Demolitions • Alterations to door openings / walls / floors • Installation / Modifications of suspended ceilings • Electrical alterations / Installations. • Mechanical alterations / Installations. • Decoration. • Floor finishes including sealing of floors • Installation of built in furniture (benching, shelving & storage units). • Installation of existing lecture hall tip-up seating to new rooms Please refer to the attached documentation for further information.
