Tenders are being sought for the provision of Management and Business Development Training for South East Technological University New Frontiers Programme for the period 1st December 2023 to 30th September 2026. New Frontiers is a national entrepreneur capability development programme which provides professional training and enterprise supports for entrepreneurs who have an innovative business idea with export and employment potential, can show evidence of a commercial market for the proposed product or service and are ambitious and growth orientated. Funded by Enterprise Ireland, the programme is intended to train potential entrepreneurs in the skills required to establish and run their own businesses. The 3-phase programme will be delivered in the southeast region by South East Technological University. Tenders are now been sought for training facilitators to join a panel of facilitators for the 3 phases of the New Frontiers programme at SETU Waterford. The funding agency for the New Frontiers programme has set an upper limit of €900 per day for any consultancy/training related activity. The SETU Waterford New Frontiers programme provides approximately 30 days of management and business development training annually to participants over the course of the 3 phases of the programme. The workshops will generally take place in the Boardroom of the Arc Labs Research and Innovation Centre, SETU West Campus, Carriganore, Co. Waterford. However, if face-to-face workshops are not possible, facilitators are required to deliver the workshops in an online delivery format. Training delivery formats for the SETU Waterford New Frontiers programme. The training days are provided in modules of 1 to 2 consecutive days (typically Mondays and Tuesdays) and the timing of the modules is scheduled to match key milestones to be achieved by participants over the programme’s duration. Some of the participant companies have a team of founders, therefore a co-founder may occasionally join a workshop. The focus of the programme is on developing the capacity of the entrepreneur to articulate a solution-based customer value proposition, validated by market research. The training and skills development element of the programme aims to balance the development of management capability of growth-oriented entrepreneurs on their journey from business concept, to market validation, to the crafting of an investment-ready business plan
