Hillhead Student Village Heating Network Project

Seeking information on a number of issues relating to an upcoming project at the University of Aberdeen. Please see questions in the attached document and complete and return by deadline. The project brief is to upgrade the heat distribution network at the University of Aberdeen’s main student residence site (Hillhead Student Village). The aim is to replace the existing heat distribution infrastructure across the site, replacing all existing pipework and upgrading the associated heat centres that serve each of the residential buildings. In so doing, the project will support a core ambition articulated in our Aberdeen 2040 strategy by taking a significant step on our net-zero journey. The Key Project Objectives are: -Upgrade the heat distribution network at our Hillhead Student Village site. -Replace the existing heat distribution infrastructure across the site -Upgrade the associated heat centres that serve each of the residential buildings. -Support a core ambition articulated in our Aberdeen 2040 strategy Lot 1: We are planning works to replace the heating system at our Hillhead student accomodation site and seeking information to help shape our approach.
