GB-Colchester: Repairs to Unadopted Highways

Tender description

Colchester Borough Council (the Employer) with Colchester Borough Homes as the Contract Administrator requires significant repairs to the public hard surface areas on the un-adopted highway within the Colchester Borough. Repairs required will be identified following an inspection in accordance Colchester Council Highway Maintenance Strategy. A copy of the inspection frequency and intervention levels are detailed in the Specification. The majority of the works will be priced on an agreed schedule of rates; however, in some cases works will be required on a day work basis or an agreed quotation. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. This is initially a 3 year contract with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
