Tender description

Glasgow City Council is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the provision of coach and mini-bus hire services. The service will include journeys both within and out with the city boundary for Glasgow City Council departments and it's ALEO's. Lot 17: 41 to 55 Seater Glasgow North East Hire of 41 to 55 seater vehicle(s) with driver for the transport of school pupils and or GCC/ALEO staff from locations within Glasgow Northeast (Wards 17 – 22 and ward 9) to any location. Lot 18: 55 to 69 Seater Glasgow North East Hire of 55 to 69 seater vehicle(s) with driver for the transport of school pupils and or GCC/ALEO staff from locations within Glasgow Northeast (Wards 17 – 22 and ward 9) to any location. Lot 19: 70(+) Seater and Double Decker Bus Glasgow North East Hire of 70(+) seater vehicle(s) or Double Decker Bus with driver for the transport of school pupils and or GCC/ALEO staff from locations within Glasgow Northeast (Wards 17 – 22 and ward 9) to any location. Lot 15: 17 to 26 Seater Glasgow North East Hire of 17 to 26 seater vehicle(s) with driver for the transport of school pupils and or GCC/ALEO staff from locations within Glasgow Northeast (Wards 17 – 22 and ward 9) to any location. Lot 16: 27 to 40 Seater Glasgow North East Hire of 27 to 40 seater vehicle(s) with driver for the transport of school pupils and or GCC/ALEO staff from locations within Glasgow Northeast (Wards 17 – 22 and ward 9) to any location. Lot 1: Swimming Hire of vehicles with driver for the transport of pupils from schools to swimming pools for swimming lessons. This will be a large scale round robin type service requiring multiple vehicles for several collections and drop offs per day. The appointed supplier will be required to fully manage this service to ensure the safe and timely transport of pupils between various pools and schools in line with the agreed timetable of scheduled lessons.
