Tender description

The purpose of this contract is to provide Mechanical & Electrical Design Consultancy & Principal Designer Services for Swansea Bay University Health Board. The scope of the services provided by the Mechanical & Electrical Design Consultant & Principal Designer, shall embed collaborative working, to modernise the NHS approach to construction projects, as well as consistently deliver benefits in terms of quality, time, and cost. The contract will be capable of delivering consultancy service projects offering a consistent and predictable programme of work for the proposed supplier. NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) on behalf of Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB) has awarded the contract to AECOM, via the NPS Dynamic Purchasing System for Property Design Consultancy. The contract was subject to a ‘Stage 1: Expression of Interest’ exercise via the DPS, followed by a mini competition where all suitably qualified providers were invited to submit a formal tender proposal.
